This weekend was filled with lots of "fallish" activities and fun :) This was the first weekend in a long time that we haven't had lots of plans. It was fun to just relax and go with the flow this weekend. Saturday we carved a pumpkin and I did a lot of baking and cooking in the kitchen... And yesterday we just hung out at home until the evening when we made a trip to Fort Wayne for dinner and some play at a park.... Great weekend with my 2 boys :)

ND vs. USC and Playroom Progress....
Drew and I were given 4 tickets to the Notre Dame vs. USC game on Saturday.... We asked the Wards to go with us... We had a great time despite the VERY disappointing loss.... The weather couldn't have been much better for this time of year.... Here are a few of the pictures I took...

Vacation with Friends!
We took a little 4 day getaway this past weekend... We left Thursday afternoon and headed down to the Brown County/Nashville area. Drew's aunt and uncle have a 2nd home down there and they were so generous to offer it to us for a little vacation. On the way down, we stopped at Ivanhoe's for dinner... This was Evan's first experience at Ivanhoe's. It was so fun for Drew and I to share our favorite restaurant during our college years with him.

It rained most of the day Friday, so we weren't able to get out and do too much. We did head into Nashville and go to a few of the shops (Evan's favorite was the candy store), but we mostly spent the day at the house relaxing as a family. Then Friday night, the Hitchcock's arrived to spend the rest of the weekend with us. We had a lasagna dinner and enjoyed each other's company.... Then Saturday morning, Todd made us all a yummy breakfast and we headed into Brown County State Park for a few hours.....
