Pictures, Pictures, and More Pictures!!

We have been so busy since I posted last!! It seems like every day has been filled with something... Evan has had lots of play-dates and trips to the zoo, fair, and other fun places... I don't know how we're going to function this winter after we've gotten so used to being outside all the time!!

My college roommate and her son came to visit her parents last week and we got to spend a little time together swimming one day and then we met for lunch and shopped another day WITHOUT any kids! It was wonderful to see her and catch up and the boys had fun playing together too!!
Here are Evan and Ethan taking a swim break....Eating animal crackers...
More snacking....
I promise they really didn't eat the whole time, but Julia and I couldn't take any pictures while we were in the pool with them!!

Our town also had its fair last week, so we made LOTS of trips out there to see the animals, see the tractors, and of course taste the ice cream....
Walking through the cow barn with Papa...
You know you live in Indiana when they have the pig races several times a day during fair week!
Watching the pig races with Papa...
Pulling Ma in the tractor...
Evan's first experience with the tractors were with Grandpa Brad, but unfortunately he didn't have his camera to take any pictures....

On Saturday, a few of my close college friends and their families all got together in Indy for the day. We had a blast catching up and all the kids had a great time playing together.... I was too busy chasing Evan around to get too many pictures, but it was a wonderful day and we can't wait to get together soon!!We tried to get a picture of all 3 of the boys right before we left (that's why Evan is in his jammies), but as you can tell, they weren't exactly cooperating....
Another try...
We finally just gave up!!

Another Great and Fun-Filled Weekend!!

Drew was off Friday afternoon so we spent the afternoon playing together... Evan is at such a fun age now... We are constantly laughing and smiling at the things he says and does... He is such a cutie! Drew also took him on a long bike ride Friday afternoon while I had a little "alone" time... I still need to take a picture of him in his bike trailer with his helmet on.. It's too cute!! Then Saturday, we went to the zoo in the morning. We took Drew's brother, Cal, with us and we all had a great time... For lunch we met Drew's parents at the Parkview picnic and ate together... Then in the evening we took Evan swimming... After church on Sunday we went to my parent's house for lunch and spent a little time with them... And then Sunday night we had the Shepherd family over for dinner and then the guys went golfing while the girls and kiddos stayed here and played... a WONDERFUL and RELAXING WEEKEND!! Here are all the pictures!!
Walking with Cal- he only wanted to hold his hand... Mommy and Daddy weren't good enough!
After feeding the giraffe... I'm not sure who was more afraid of the giraffe's long tongue- Drew or Evan!
Evan doesn't look too sure...

Fun with cousins and Taylor Reunion!

Drew's cousin, Cory, has been in the hospital for the past couple of weeks. He finally came home yesterday!! Last week, Evan and I took Claire (Cory's sister) to the zoo with us for a couple of hours and then dropped her off at the hospital afterwards. Evan loves hanging out with Claire and they both had lots of fun!! Claire will make a wonderful babysitter for Evan in years to come!
Holding Claire's hand!
Looking at the horse...
Claire fed the giraffe 4 pieces of lettuce! That was her favorite part of the zoo...
Evan's cousins, Hailey and Ty, came to Indiana for a couple of days and Evan had a blast with them as usual. They play so well with him and it's so funny to watch him imitate EVERYTHING they do. I watched them for a couple hours one morning while Rob and Brad golfed and we had lots of fun....
Building a tower...
Playing with chalk and bubbles...
Snack time!!

Over the 4th of July, we hosted a Taylor Reunion at our house. Everyone arrived Friday afternoon/evening and stayed until Sunday... 10 extra people not including us (from Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Indy)... Drew, Evan and I stayed at my parent's house and let everyone else have our house... It was crowded, but we had lots of fun... We basically just hung around the house all weekend.. We ate lots, took several walks, played games, and had a late-night bonfire.... Lots of laughing and lots of reminiscing... It was so neat to see how all our lives have changed since Drew graduated from Taylor 5 years ago. We talked about making it an annual tradition....
