Flashback!

Well, now that Evan is a year old, I decided to do a little flashback of his monthly pictures this past year. Although some months were better pictures than others, I thought it was fun to look at how much he has changed. We took him for his one year doctor's appointment yesterday with our new pediatrician. We loved his new doctor and were impressed with how thorough she was and how she just let us ask any and all questions we had. He had to have 6 shots AND bloodwork drawn, so he had kind of a rough day yesterday. We decided to let him try some ice cream last night since he was such a brave boy. Surprisingly, he wasn't too sure about it. I think it may have been because it was so cold. His doctor said he's doing great in all areas and reassured us that everything is fine even though Evan may be a little slow to walk and talk.... Although he has been pulling himself up this last week really well and is starting to walk behind his toys and walk around furniture :) Here are some of the latest facts about our little guy....

* He weighs 24 lbs, 3 oz (75th %), is 30 1/4 inches long (65%), and his head is in the 90th % (just like his daddy!)...
*He still LOVES to eat- he'll eat pretty much anything except green beans.....
*He is starting to play more on his own and entertain himself with all of his toys... He still loves to read and flip through the pages of all of his books...
*He still loves his pacifier, although we're planning to get rid of it pretty soon...
*He LOVES to swing at the park- we try to make it there at least once a day!!
*He loves to play with water- his water table and bath time are some of his happiest times...
*He knows quite a few words when we say them although he hasn't really started repeating any of them yet (kitty, splash, doggie, books, blocks, eat, drink, sit up, ball, blankie, cow, duck, lion, mommy, daddy)

We are so in love with this little guy and enjoy each and every day with him... What a blessing he is....

One month old- not my best photography...

Two months old!!

Three months- still no smiling yet.....

Four months- he was soo chubby!!

Five months- there's a smile!!

Six months- already starting to wiggle!!

Seven months- a pro at the sitting up thing!!

Eight months- now putting everything in his mouth!!

Nine months- happy guy!!

Ten months- no more looking at the camera- too many other distractions!!

Eleven months- what a little studmuffin!!

ONE YEAR OLD! We think this might be the end of this pictures- we had sooo much trouble just getting a picture this good... He won't sit still at all for pictures anymore and he DID NOT want to be in his crib.........
