I just read one of my favorite books ever and wanted to share it with all of my blog followers! It definitely changes your perspective of things... The really neat thing about it is that it's a true story. It is a must read!! If anyone is interested, I'm also following an online study of this book... The link for this study is www.thebloombookclub.blogspot.com. Happy reading!!

Catch up and the Shrine Circus!!
Things have been really busy around our house lately. Drew continues to LOVE his new job, and Evan and I have been keeping a very busy schedule as well... Between storytime, playdates, errands, and just playing we are on the go all the time. Drew jokes that he needs to hire me an assistant just to keep my schedule straight :) But it's been good since it makes the days go by fast- especially with Drew not being able to come home for lunch anymore. I have included lots of random pictures of the last couple of weeks and also some circus pictures at the end. Evan had been looking forward to this for at least a week.. He loved it all, but I think the elephants were his favorite. He wasn't too sure of the clowns and the loud noises they made, but overall it was a hit :) We'll definitely have to take him back next year...
Playdate with his buddy Ryan... These guys are becoming wonderful friends... They play so well together :)

Evan's boo-boos... He fell down a couple of steps at the East Noble basketball game... Thankfully it looked worse than it was and he's all healed now!!

John and Laura's Wedding!
Well, this past weekend was the big wedding. It was a BEAUTIFUL wedding and the weather cooperated (it was just very cold!).... I didn't take too many pictures of my own, but can't wait to see the ones the photographers took. They were snapping pictures literally all day... Here are a few of the ones I took....

CHRISTMAS!
We had a wonderful Christmas season this year. Drew was off work for almost 2 1/2 weeks before he started his new job, so we were able to spend lots of quality time together as a family as well as doing some more home improvements. Drew painted my scrapbook room in the basement and put hardwood flooring in both the scrapbook room and Evan's playroom. I'll have to post pictures soon. It turned out really nice. Drew is really enjoying his job, and we're very excited about the new opportunities he'll have there. We're also in the middle of all kinds of wedding preparations. Laura and John get married this Saturday, January 9th, and Evan and I are both in the wedding. We're hoping that we don't get so much snow that it causes people troubles getting to the wedding and reception. Although the snow will be really pretty :) We hope all is well with you and your families and pray you have a happy and blessed 2010!
Evan and Mommy making Christmas cookies... We had been making tree cookies, but we ran out of green and brown M&Ms, so Evan and I got a little creative with the other colors :)
