We got our Christmas pictures back from the photographer yesterday and since she sent them to us in digital form, I thought I would share them on our blog... Some of you will be seeing one of these on your Christmas card from us, but here's a sneak peek.... I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving... We have so much to be thankful for....

Our little walker!
Yesterday, Evan started to walk a few steps without us prodding him to walk... And then this morning, it's like he's just taken off... Although he doesn't always choose to walk instead of crawling and he hasn't quite figured out how to stand up without pulling up on something, he's so much closer! Just thought I would post a quick video so you can see his progress :) It's been so much fun watching him figure all of this out...

First Steps...
Well.... we can finally say Evan has taken his first steps! Saturday night I was holding Evan's hand while he walked around the family room and I let go.. He usually goes into "crawl mode" and instantly drops to his knees... Instead, he took a few steps on his own to the coffee table... Drew and I both got to see it. I was so glad Drew was home and watching when it happened! And he's been walking back and forth from Drew and I a lot in the past couple of days... Although we can't say he's actually "walking" all the time, he can't be that far away! Hopefully I can take a video soon and post it for you all to see...
This weekend, we went down to the Botanical Conservatory and had our family pictures taken.. We don't have those back from the photographer, but we did take a few of our own after we were done with our professional ones. I worked a little with editing them this morning and have included a couple...
I wanted to explain the 7X7 Prayer button at the side of my blog. Angie Smith (whose blog I faithfully follow), has challenged her readers to commit to praying for our children 7 times a day for 7 days. I am planning to start this challenge tomorrow and wanted to inform all of my blog readers in the event any of you are interested. You just click on the little button on the right side of my blog and it will take you to Angie's post and explain all of the details... I hope all is well with everyone and you're starting to get in the Christmas spirit.. I know I was when I woke up and saw SNOW this morning!!

Pumpkin Farm and Playing in the Leaves...
We went to the pumpkin farm this weekend and took more fall pictures... The weather was wonderful this weekend, so when we came home we played in the leaves a little bit... Evan is absolutely FASCINATED with leaves... I'm not quite sure why he loves them so much, but he gets so excited anytime he sees leaves.... Enjoy the pictures!!Such a big boy!
Our Little Monkey...
Evan was a monkey for Halloween... He wasn't too fond of his costume at first, but I think he started to get used to it as we kept putting it on him. Although we didn't actually go trick-or-treating, we made stops at all of Evan's grandparent's and great-grandparent's houses... He was one worn out little monkey at the end of the day!Grammy and Evan with his stuffed monkey....
Checking out the other little trick-or-treaters... Notice the little banana sticking out of his pocket....
